CREATE A PERSONAL FUNDRAISER

Set a Goal!

CREATE A PERSONAL FUNDRAISER
Personal Fundraisers are a great way to spread awareness and raise money without asking anyone to go anywhere or do anything. Think about what you like to do, set a goal for yourself, and ask family members, friends, and colleagues to support you. Through our website, you can set up a personal fundraising page to tell people about your fundraising plans and accept donations. You will be notified whenever someone makes a donation in support of your fundraiser.
Here is an example of how it works:
  1. Decide on a Personal Challenge:  Run a 5K

  2. Set a Fundraising Goal:  $5,000.00

  3. How will you achieve this goal?  Run the Holiday 5k in your town

  4. Click the Get Started Now button below to create your Online Fundraising Page with a personal message.
Ex: “I am planning to run the Holiday 5k on December 1st to support a charity that is very important to me. I will be spreading awareness and raising money for The Children’s Fund for Glycogen Storage Disease Research to help find a cure for GSD.  GSD is a rare genetic disorder that is near and dear to me because.... (your story here).     I will be training for the next few months and I would love it if you would help me reach my goal of raising $5,000. Thank you for your support!"

  5. Spread the word:  Use email & social media to invite your friends and family to support you.
